Keep the line alive while the model and tools work.
What it is
Presence Buffer plays short keep-alive speech (thinking / tool wait) so callers do not hear dead air while STT, LLM, tools, or knowledge search run.
How to configure
Assistant → Advanced → Presence Buffer. Enable thinking and tool phrases. Prefer ultra-short phrases like Mm. / Got it. Leave knowledge phrases empty — never announce searching the knowledge base.
Runtime behavior
The voice pipeline filters announcing fillers. Knowledge search stays silent; the agent answers from speak_from after the tool returns.
